I have loved this Easter Season! The kids and I have been doing some fun projects at home, visiting lots of beautiful places, and really trying to appreciate the Savior during this wonderful time of year. This particular Easter had some extra special meaning since Ethan was invited to give the scripture during Primary (he did AWESOME!!) and I was able to teach my class about the Resurrection. I love my Primary class! They are all great kids with a tremendous knowledge about the gospel.
We began the Easter celebrations early with a taste test of Peeps! Noah really knows how to 'enjoy' his food'!
On Saturday morning we headed over to Sis. Ruggles for her annual Easter Egg hunt. She hides 160 dozen eggs for the kids in the ward. It was so fun! The eggs are filled with candy and tickets so there are prizes for the kids who get tickets. We were lucky enough to bring along Katie and Chase to share in the fun.

The under 3 Egg hunt....it was over in about 5 minuets! The kids really know how to clean up...maybe I should start a chore chart?
Noah was so funny~he would pick and egg, crack it open, try the candy and if he liked it he put it in his basket...if not he just dropped it back on the grass!

Do you see his bucket? He was by far one of the fasted kids to clear the lawn! He did so well that he shared his eggs with some late comers so that they had something to find.
My Noah Bear cheesin' it up.
After the egg hunt we came home to get lunch ready for Grandma and Grandpa. Noah was so tuckered out from all the running around he fell asleep with Daddy.
Our beautiful Easter Table.
Lunch was so yummy! We had ham, potatoes, rolls, applesauce, sparkling cider and Grandma and Grandpa brought a yummy dessert for all of us! It was so nice to have the family here. The kids always get excited to have Grandma and Grandpa over. Ethan asks us, at least once a day, if he can go to Grandma Linda's house. They get so excited when they are here, they want to show them everything and talk their ears off! We are super lucky to have so much family close. After dinner we had an egg hunt. Grandma and Daddy hid the eggs while Grandpa told the kids a story.

After the egg hunt we colored eggs with Grandma and Grandpa. It was fun and messy as always but this year there were no egg fatalities.
Grandma and Grandpa were all tuckered out so they took their dessert to go. We made the kids wait till after naps for dessert, but man did they love it!
On Easter morning we had a special visit from the Easter Bunny! He ran in while the kids were getting cleaned up from breakfast and left a candy trail to their baskets outside. He also left a special egg with a note for the boys saying that he loved them!
On our way to church, don't they look so handsome!
CRAZY FACE!

My big boy was outside playing by himself so I had a little impromptu photo shoot with him!

Nana Banana!
Family photo, not my fave, but it was the only one where the boys were looking at the camera!
The Elkington egg hunt, 4 and unders
Again with eating the candy as he goes!
Nana and 9 of 13 great grand children!
While Mom was fixing an amazing ham dinner we played MJ experience with the family. SO fun! The little kids were all playing outside and had a blast.
During dinner Noah got a little overly excited and flipped his chair back! We were all laughing so hard! His dinner went all over the place and he was laughing so hard at himself.
Hope you all had a wonderful Easter with the ones you love!
