Trying something new...

Thought I would change things up on our blog....what do you think? I can't figure out how to change the text size in the title so if you know, PLEASE TELL ME! The past few days have been crazy for us. Without too many details, my husband had a very disturbing experience on Friday that has caused us to make some adjustments for our little family. Prayers are appreciated as we are trying to adjust and help him through this. With everything that happened we had some time to re-evaluate things and realized that we need to make some changes. I realized that with all the stress this year has brought us that it was starting to take it's toll. I have been in quite the funk and NEED to get things moving again. We are where where we are and all that....I need to make the best of things. So in my effort to get back on track so to speak I need to post about what we've been doing. A few weeks ago we headed out to Old Sacramento for Gold Rush Days. The kids had a ton of fun, despite the heat. Grandma and Grandpa Stauffer (aka Grandma Linda and Grandpa Zombie) came with us and treated the kids to a genuine stagecoach ride! So fun!

Noah doing 1..2..3..Jump!
My boys! This is my world!
Boarding the Stagecoach. The boys loved it and spent the whole 'trip' waving out the windows to everyone!
Getting ready to go, not so sure what to expect. As soon as it started Noah started yelling "Horsey, Horsey"
Lunch on the river
Ethan visiting the undertaker
Panning for Gold. Afterward we took our gold to the bank and got some money to use around town for treats.
RIP Ethan Stauffer
Noah playing the shooting range with Dad, he did really well...with some help of course!
Birthday Celebrations:
We had a party with the family last weekend for the boys. This year they asked for costumes. Well Grandma Stauffer and Grandma Frank delivered! We are now the proud owners of Thor, Bumblebee, Iron Man, Storm Troopers, A gladiator, a Ninja, a construction worker, spider man, captain america, and superman. They have been having so much fun!

Their big gift was from Grandma G, a geo tracks set from Cars 2. They loved it! Noah was hurrying to get it inside so that Dad could set it up for them.
2 and 4 Where did the time go?
On Saturday we headed up the block to the Chicken Festival. Old Fair Oaks is famous for the roaming chicken population and every year they celebrate by having a huge street fair, entertainment, and best of all a $5 unlimited kids park complete with 4 jump houses, free face painting, carnival games, puppet shows, art projects, and of course chickens!

Noah got up the the top but didn't want to go down alone, so up Dad went to slide with him. I love his face in this photo.
Ethan was fearless, except for one jump house that looked like a train. The entrance creeped him out.
Trying to coax brother down again. No luck, Mom had to get him.

I love the new blog look, as far as the blog text goes, you should be able to change the size in the editor on the dashboard.
