7,8, & 9

#7 Lucky number 7! The one thing that makes me the luckiest girl ever is having the gospel in my life. This year especially has taught me what it means to rely on the hand of the Lord. I have a long way to go in understanding that I don't need to bear the weight alone, but I am working on it. This year the Lord has given me more spiritual uplifting than I thought possible!

#8 I am thankful for my ALMOST 8 years of marriage. This probably should have been#7 since we just had our anniversary in August, but March marks 8 years together so I figure we're good. I am so grateful that we have each other. When everything is wrong in the world I know that Preston will be there to make me feel better. I know this for a fact because last week I had the worst headache ever and was throwing up from the pain and all I wanted was for him to hold my hand. It is amazing how at different moments you are reminded how much someone means to you and how strong your love is!

#9 I am thankful for successes, however small. Accomplishing something, whether recognized by the world or not, is always a great feeling! This week in the Stauffer house we have accomplished the following: planning a great party, breaking Noah of his binkie, starting potty training, packing up more stuff, letting go of things that are taking up space physically and emotionally, starting to teach Ethan to read, having FHE, and getting E to the dentist for a filling with no screaming. Sure we didn't make a million dollars, change the world, or find perfect happiness, but we did do something, and isn't that what we are here for?
