Attitude of Gratitude #5

I am thankful for modern medicine. Countless times in my life have I seen the power of medicine for myself, my family, and my children. Currently I am thankful for asthma medications to help my kids sleep at night. Poor little Noah has been coughing terribly this week but I am grateful that we have access to doctors and the medicine that we need to help make him more comfortable. I was also recently thankful for pain killers when I had my wisdom tooth pulled. I am just grateful that I am not alone in my attempts to care for my children, that when there is a problem I have access to trained professionals who can help. It isn't just me and Preston out on the prairie watching our children suffer without any way to help them. Those Mother's and Father's had a strength that I can only imagine.
